7th June 2022, Changchun, China – Gpixel announced today that its GSPRINT4510 image sensor was recognized among the best in machine vision by the judges of the Vision Systems Design 2022 Innovator Awards program. The judging panel consisted of esteemed experts from system integrator and end-user companies and the entries were evaluated based on, among other criteria, their impact on designers, system integrators and end-users. GSPRINT4510 was one of only three entries, and the only image sensor technology, to achieve gold level recognition this year.

GSPRINT4510 is the second product in the growing GSPRINT family of high-speed global shutter image sensors from Gpixel. GSPRINT4510 is a 10 Megapixel (4608 x 2176) 4/3” (22.9mm) high-speed image sensor designed with the latest 4.5 µm charge domain global shutter pixel. It achieves more than 30 ke- charge capacity and less than 3 e- rms read noise. Using an advanced 65 nm CIS process with light pipe technology, the sensor achieves >65% QE and more than 1/40,000 shutter efficiency. With on-chip charge binning, full well capacity can be further increased, and frame rate is almost quadrupled. The sensor achieves 1920 fps in full 4k video resolution with 8-bit output, over 1000 fps in 10-bit mode, and 500 fps in 12-bit mode. High frame rate, generous pixel size and low read noise make GSPRINT4510 an ideal solution for applications such as high-speed 4K video, industrial inspection, and 3D laser scanning.
